RARE begonia. Keep humidity at 50% minimum, medium to low indirect light (no direct sun), keep soil moist.  Minimum temperature of 65F.  Grows to approx 7-10" tall and only about 6-8" wide.  Leaves trail outwards with fuzzy red stems.



Strawberry Begonia

Not a true begonia! Actually a member of the Saxifraga family. A medium sized terrarium plant - Strawberry begonias sprout cascading plantlets that will root themselves and grow. Each plantlet can be cut & repotted to grow into another plant. Prefers moist soil - but not soggy. Maximum 6-9" tall. If planted high in a habitat - the plantlets will drape down towards the substrate. Prefers lower lighting - leaves burn in high light. Leaves are covered in fine hair with silver markings that grow brighter in lower lighting.
