Our vivarium substrates have been on the market for 12+ years, making them the original store brand of bioactive terrarium substrate. Our blends include only the absolute highest quality ingredients available, and we're open & honest about exactly what is in every type of substrate we manufacture. NEHERP Substrates have been proven to maintain a healthy pH, resist compaction, support microfauna, foster mycorrhizal fungi, and grow healthy plants long term. Each of our bioactive substrate kits include everything you'll need for the base layers for a living terrarium environment, and are customizable for your enclosure's specific environment and/or animal species.
