The real metal stand & thick blown glass orbs included in these kits both have an in-person appeal that won't disappoint. These are American-made artisanal grade glass globes which are thicker than some of the ornament-thin mainstream options. Each glass orb will be packaged extremely carefully by our team, and separated from the metal stand for a safe transit. Includes the glass orb, metal stand, and twine for hanging.

Plant maintenance should be as easy as providing a gentle misting as the plants require it. Be sure to position the stand in an area with plenty of natural light for best results. These Air Plant Frames are a funky & cool way to display live Tillandsias in your home. Simply place the Tillandsia plants in the included twine and hang the frame in a room with plenty of natural light. When it comes time to mist the plants, simply remove them to mist individually, or take the whole frame to an area where you can lightly mist them all at once. The frequency of misting depends on the species, but usually once or twice each week is enough. Each frame is available in beechwood gray & natural brown color.

Cool Horticultural Containers For Houseplants

We built our lineup around what we'd consider excellent options, but we'll only carry what we can offer great deals on. When it comes to certain types of containers (glass bowls, imported plastics, etc), we can't offer the best prices, so we decided not to carry them at all. :-)

(Why should you pay more?) If you are looking for some of the more mainstream decorative glass houseplant containers, we'd recommend checking out Amazon*. :-)

We use all of the high quality containers listed on this page to display plants at our shop & in our homes. That being said, it's worth mentioning that one of the best parts about the indoor horticulture hobby is finding unique and sometimes even weird containers. In Mike's office, he's using a Stormtrooper helmet as a planter. In Jess's office, she's got a Uranium Glass candy dish as a planter. Their son has a tiny antique medicine jar as a terrarium in his windowsill. Finding special & unique containers can be half the fun. Flea markets, antique shops, and similar places are always worth a look, and prices there are usually extremely reasonable. Just keep us in mind when it comes to choose high quality terrarium plants!
