Advancement & Compensation
Most positions start at $15/hr. Open forum company meetings take place every 3-9 months where everyone has the opportunity to make suggestions, share ideas, and more. Management of NEHERP have an open door policy, and you can count on being treated fairly and honestly. The company has grown significantly faster than the market average, and we continue to set records each year. Expect plenty of room for growth as the NEHERP continues to scale.
Life-Friendly Scheduling
Our business's schedules stay mostly the same every week, and we try to be accommodating when setting up initial work schedules for every new team member. If you are in school or have a second job, we'll do our best to build a schedule which will fit your lifestyle. If your schedule changes during the year, we'll do our best to be as accommodating as possible. Lunch breaks are flexible (30-60 minutes) and scheduling time off is a drama-free automated process.
Setting Expectations
Our working environment is surrounded by life. There are plants, animals, bioactive terrariums, and plenty of other exciting elements to our shop and it's truly a unique place to work. That being said, most positions are dedicated to supporting our online store, and our fast-paced Logistics Department is really the core of our business. About 90% of all labor hours are either dedicated to logistics directly, or help support that department through some form of product production. If you'll feel comfortable in an upbeat, fast-paced, and friendly working environment, our shop might be a perfect fit!

Prerequisites & Considerations
• Minor applicants must provide 2+ letters of recommendation. Work history is not mandatory.
• Adult applicants must provide 2+ professional letters of recommendation and a consistent work history.
• A degree is a bonus, but is not required for most positions. Time spent in college doesn't count toward work history.
• Time served in any branch of the American Military counts towards work history. Thank you for your service. ♥
• Applicants may be asked to submit to a drug screening. Pot (legal in CT) is excluded from screening but forbidden on the premises.
