Why We Like Current-USA:

We sent an email to our Insider Subscribers back in 2016 and asked them which brands of LEDs they liked the most based upon their experience. Current was on the top of the list for reliable linear LED fixtures, and that was what lead to us carrying the "Pro" units you'll find below. That same poll is why we closed our account with "brand F", and dropped "brand Z" from our LED lineup. Current-USA has got a rock-solid reputation for reliability and honest output ratings. Their customizable controls are awesome too, but reliability and peace of mind are the main reasons why we're such big fans of Current-USA.

For enclosures up to 16in tall, the Current Satellite LED Plus models will do the trick. They'll perform best on enclosures under 14in tall in our experience. (35µMol/M²S @ 12in / Lumens: 600-2000) For enclosures 14-24in tall, the Current Satellite Plus Pro model is the one we'd recommend. It's got significantly higher output than the non-pro model, and is able to overcome the extra height with ease. (100µMol/M²S @ 12in / Lumens: 1500-3800)

Current-USA appears to have closed permanently. Check out Sunblaster's line of LEDs for a less expensive and more powerful option. We developed custom terrarium stands to utilize these horticultural LEDs in this hobby, and they work great. Plus we've been using Sunblaster in our Grow Rooms since 2018, and we're confident in their long-term performance.
