A Pigment Enhancement Formula is a Carotenoid Supplement designed to enhance the diet of Reptiles, Fish, Amphibians and Birds. Contains a "broad spectrum" of Carotenoids including, but not limited to: Astaxanthin, Capsanthin, Capsorubin, Beta-Carotene, Alpha Carotene, Beta Cryptoxanthin, Zeaxanthin, Neoaxanthin, Cucurbitaxanthin, Violaxanthin, Lutein, Echineone, Canthaxanthin and Lycopene. This product can be used in many ways. It can be mixed into complete feed (Repashy Superfoods MRP Formulas contain 3% SuperPig). It can be supplemented in high doses, but recommended inclusion level should not exceed 6% DMB in an exclusively fed diet. It can be added to a Gutload Formula for insects, It can be sprinkled on veggies, mixed with vitamin or calcium powder, and even used to dust insects directly. For larger species, SuperPig can be mixed with water and injected into thawed and frozen feed. It can even be fed directly to fish & tadpoles.

A Preformed Vitamin A Supplement

A Micro Fine Vitamin A Supplement for Reptiles and Amphibians. Contains Preformed Vitamin A as well as natural ingredients which provide Beta Carotene. Preformed Vitamin A (Retinol) is an essential fat soluble vitamin that in nature comes from animal sources only. Plant sources of Vitamin A, such as Beta Carotene and other Carotenoids, must be converted into this active animal form to be utilized by the body. Carotenoids can be converted into Retinol by some species given optimal conditions, but it has been shown that deficiencies can develop if Preformed Vitamin A is not directly provided in the Retinol form. This Supplement provides Preformed Vitamin A in the form of a spray dried water dispersible Retinyl Acetate powder in combination with natural sources of Beta Carotene derived from algae.
