Acclimation
After a few months, some of the plants within the enclosure will need to be trimmed, and leaf litter will need to be replenished as it breaks down. (The above example is in need of a trim, for reference!
) Be sure to trim higher plants that block light from penetrating beneath them, to ensure even growth. Pruning plants can help shape the vivarium, so your creativity can influence the final look.
