The first 3-6 weeks of a vivarium's life cycle are by far the most critical for the long-term success of your plants & microfauna. We suggest giving them the best chance for healthy acclimation by not adding inhabitants until the enclosure has cycled for at least 1 month. For best looking & fastest results, also be extra diligent about keeping environmental conditions optimal during this period.
