Vines & Trailing Plants
__________________________________________________________________________________________________
Pothos
The easiest
vivarium plant to grow - an excellent choice for a beginner or
someone looking for a nearly non-killable plant!
These grow fairly quickly and will require some trimming
occasionally but it's a very easy plant to propagate, so nothing
goes to waste! Offers viv inhabitants a place to hide and
climb - an easy choice!

Columnea
'Goldfish'

A Gesneriad -
Flowers bright orange. Requires frequent misting and high
humidity. Does best in well-draining soil that is allowed to
stay moist.
Aeschynanthus radicans

Another Gesneriad - Flowers bright
reddish orange - it'll occasionally flower in a vivarium!
A very popular epiphytic climbing vine - the foliage resembles little
watermelons! Allow to dry a bit between watering - Medium
light. This plant will grip & climb up backgrounds & vines!
Requires high light & humidity - a very cool vivarium suitable
plant. Grows hanging downward.
Leaves are about 1" long - usually sold not flowering.
Does best in well-draining soil
with decent air movement and high humidity.

Columnea 'Carnival'

We've got Columnea 'Carnival' in extremely limited quantities - It's
my favorite columnea and we don't offer it too often. The
flowers are a beautiful LARGE yellow/orange - and it flowers often,
which makes it a truly excellent viv plant. Wandering Jew is a fast growing, deep purplish plant that
flourishes in a vivarium. Purple will become brighter
in brighter lighting. Does best with high humidity, medium/high light. One of the easiest plants to
propagate. Grows very quickly!
It's fairly expensive, unfortunately because we have to grow it
ourselves in-house. Unfortunately I can't find a source
elsewhere that doesn't use pesticides - if you've got this plant
available in large quantities and you DON'T use pesticides
please let us know!
