Organic medium grade charcoal is a perfect medium for springtail breeding or to be broken up into smaller bits to add into a vivarium substrate mix. We prefer medium grade over fine grade when breeding springtails because it's easy to get a bunch of springtails out by removing a big chunk of charcoal with all the springs still on it!



Zoo Med Hydroballs Clay Substrate

HydroBalls Expanded Clay Terrarium Substrate can be used as a base layer underneath Zoo Med s Eco Earth coconut fiber substrate or other substrates to create an underground water table in Naturalistic Terrariums. Hydroton Clay Balls

Zoo Med Naturalistic Terrarium Mesh is a non-toxic mesh for use in terrariums above the drainage (hydroton or hydroballs) layer to allow proper water drainage which keeps substrates from mixing and contaminating the water/filtration system. Excellent for use with waterfall applications.



Custom Cut Screen Separator

A simple & easy way to get a non-toxic, evenly cut, screen separator that really fits!  This is the same screen material we've been using since we started building vivariums commercially. Sizes are comfortably, evenly cut to an ideal size. 
These are cut for All Glass, Aqueon, or Deep Blue brand terrariums.  If you have a different model with a slightly different size - please specify in the special instructions box. If you'd like a custom uncommon size - enter it in the special instructions box.  Be sure to choose the size closest to the size you'd like if you want a custom cut.  These are shipped rolled - not folded.  That way it's easier to lay out & use immediately.
