As of July 2010 - Processed leaf litter has been discontinued.
It wasn't necessarily expensive to do - just very time consuming for us!

How we used to process leaf litter:
Step 1: Pour the leaf litter into a large pot full of water and swish it around to give it a quick rinse.
Step 2: Empty the water from the pot and refill with new water.
Step 3: Stick it on a stove and allow it to boil for 2-3 minutes.
Step 4: Using a colander drain the water out and allow the leaves to dry a bit before adding them to a vivarium.

It's easy for the end-user to do - although some enthusiasts say it's not 100% necessary - you be the judge!
Many successful breeders don't process leaf litter if it's been dried since drying the leaves minimizes the risk for many issues (Chytrid + more etc...).  All of our leaf litter is still thoroughly dried before shipping.

T Rex Forest Floor

Sizes:

Forest Floor Bedding is a natural product made from the ground bark of cypress trees. Forest Floor Bedding is the preferred substrate for many species of snakes, lizards, frogs, toads, salamanders, tarantulas, and insects. Many species of terrestrial land turtles do benefit from using Forest Floor Bedding as their substrate, but you should feed them in a separate container with no substrate or bedding to prevent the accidental ingestion of substrate from messy feeding turtles. Forest Floor Bedding is also great for live plants and egg incubation.
