Freshly Started 32oz Fruit Fly Culture
We have two types of flies available - Wingless Drosophila Melanogaster and
Flightless Drosophila Hydei. Melanogaster is a smaller fly that produces
quickly and in large numbers - Hydei is larger and produces slower and in
smaller numbers. Either of these are an excellent food source for dart frogs
and many other small amphibians & reptiles. Our flies for sale are more for
convenience than anything - if you are ordering something from us and could
use an extra culture - this makes life a bit easier.
We will ship ground to help you save money - but we cannot guarantee live
arrival unless the insects are shipped 2'nd day air Generally in mild
weather (70F-78F) ground shipping is at least semi-safe. Please use your
best judgment!

8oz Charcoal Springtail Starter Cultures
*New for 2010 - These are now sold in clear deli cups for better
viewing*
We now have tropical springtail cultures available. Charcoal cultures can last a very long
time if taken care of properly. Each culture will come with roughly 3-4
month food supply of bakers yeast (springtail food) at no additional charge.
We strongly suggest these be shipped 2'nd or next day air. We will ship ground to
help you save money - but we cannot guarantee live arrival unless the
insects are shipped 2'nd or next day air.
