Fluker's Cricket Care Products

Best-selling Fluker's cricket care lineup!

Fluker's Cricket Foods & Liquids
Cricket Feed:
(Shown left/tan color) Designed for gut-loading crickets to increase their vitamin/mineral content prior to offering them as prey. Fluker's Cricket Feed allows insect-eating pets to benefit from the nutritional value of the insect itself and from the insect's nutrient-rich gut content.

Cricket Quencher
(Shown center/blue & yellow colors) Cricket Quencher may be used as a sole source of water for crickets and all feeder insects. Unique gel formula stays cleaner and prevents insects from drowning in the water. We offer "Original" and "With Calcium" formulas. The Calcium Fortified formula offers a source of calcium for gut-loading insects.

Orange Food Cubes:
(Shown right/orange color) Formulated to be easily digested by all feeder insects. Use of orange cube will drastically reduce the number of drowned, dehydrated and nutrient deficient crickets. Made from nutritious items such as kelp, spirulina, and brewer's yeast. Also packed with Vitamins E, B-12, A, D3, and calcium carbonate.

NEHERP Note
If you'll be using Fluker's cricket diets, deciding which one is right can make a difference in the long run. If you only buy a few crickets at a time, and don't usually keep them longer than a 3-5 days before feeding, the calcium fortified quencher & orange cubes will work fine. Otherwise, if you keep crickets for longer than a week at a time, we'd suggest the original quencher formula & high calcium cricket diet (dry) for longer-term success. Crickets live longer on cricket diet + original quencher formula, but it's without the gutloading benefit of the other two products.

Springtail Food

100% Brewer's Yeast

Springtail Food
We've used straight brewers yeast as springtail food since 2008 with great success. This has proven to be an inexpensive, chemical-free, and very effective springtail food resulting in excellent production. Simply sprinkle a bit on your springtail culture and mist it with some dechlorinated water to hydrate it a bit. Once the springs eat it, simply replace it with a little more. We usually feed our springtail cultures about twice per week. This 16oz deli cup (over 1/2lb!) should have more than enough to keep a larger sized culture going for at least 4-6 months or longer.

Tetra Freeze Dried Bloodworms

A great supplemental food item for tadpoles aquatic species

Tetra Bloodworms
Manufacturer Description:
Perfect for bringing out the best energy and condition in your Bettas and fancy guppies. Also great as a reward for small and medium-sized tropical and marine fish. Freeze dried.

NEHERP Description:
A handful of different amphibian species eat bloodworms (namely aquatic species), but another common use is as a supplemental food item for tadpoles of many species. All natural freeze dried bloodworms are a fair source of protein. We raise tads individually, and offer one worm weekly to larger tadpoles. Careful offering too many at once, as doing so can cloud/foul the water.
