This product is the Crested Gecko Diet with Metronidazole added in a
ratio developed and used successfully by Allen Repashy to treat infections
of Entamoeba invadens in Rhacodactylus geckos. It is designed to be fed in
place of the regular diet for treatment period only. It can be used to treat
symptoms, and is recommended as an annual prophylactic treatment used at the
beginning of the breeding season to prevent outbreaks that are common to
occur in the Spring. This inclusion ratio has been carefully calculated and
used successefully for six years, but you must use it at your own risk, and
should consult a Veterinarian before using this product . A 4ml serving (1/8
oz.) mixed with water according to the directions,for a 40 gram gecko
provides 100 mg/kg dosage. Syringe hand feeding can be done at .1cc per gram
of gecko weight.
